An unsteady flow control technique based on negative circulation conception and its application to a blade-divergent passage

A two-dimensional vortex model is introduced in this paper order to understand the characteristics of shedding a blade-divergent passage and mitigate or suppress it by appropriate methods. The performance under influence three typical external factors studied, namely, main flow extrusion effect, viscous transport effect. Based on analysis, negative circulation unsteady control technique proposed compensate for which known as NCFC. Numerical simulation performed verify effectiveness NCFC method. results show that method superior conventional improving most cases. In addition, there an optimum injection with NCFC, about 0.2% mass, shows be more efficient than weakening vortex. Furthermore, can effectively inhibit separation shown insensitive mass. Finally, highly recommended adapt fact working conditions often change practice.
